Hello

Painting gives me the freedom to tell any story I want. I can paint for hours and hours without a break. Sometimes eight hours pass without me even realising it. When I'm in this flow state, the colours 'pop' in my mind and then on the page. I let the colours lead me, not the style. Its the closest thing I know to taking drugs.

I always loved art as a child. But it was only after a difficult time in my life, I began to paint seriously. Since starting three years ago, my work has appeared at five exhibitions, in museums and galleries in the UK and Africa. I paint a large picture at least once a week, to meet popular demand from sales. 

 

I love building textures through mixed-media so the image jumps out of the canvas at you.

Outside of art, I enjoy spending time in nature and taking inspiration from the natural earth. I garden, and and live by the sea with my cat.

My Chinese zodiac animal is the tiger. My birthstone is Saphire. The inspiration for Blue Tiger Art.
